We went to Disneyland – just randomly went to Disneyland with my family and we both were eating dinner at the [Blue] Bayou restaurant, you know, Pirates of the Caribbean. And it was so odd. She walked over and I was like, ‘This is too coincidental.’ But, I should have told her, ‘You know, why did you take the Cullens out of the second book so much?’ I did tell her, ‘You know what? Peter Facinelli berättar till People magazine att hans yngre motspelare klagar när de måste spela in

scener på nätterna. Han själv tycker att det är jättekul att spela in filmen på nätterna och kan hålla på i timmar.

"I love night shoots. Everybody else is [tired] by like two, three in the morning, which is weird because I'm

the old guy!" Facinelli tells PEOPLE at the Los Angeles premiere of Ghosts of Girlfriends Past on Monday night.

"In the book, he's actually an enormous presence in [Bella's] mind," Rosenberg said. "He's so present in her mind throughout the entire center of the book, so we really played off that, and it kept him alive in a slightly different way, but fans will feel it's true to the book. You can't have a Twilight without Rob Pattinson."

As for the violence in Breaking Dawn, Rosenberg seems to confirm that she will be working on a script, and will keep some of the fairly adult scenes toned down to earn a PG-13 rating:

And Rosenberg says you also can't have a Twilight movie with anything more adult than a PG-13 rating. She has yet to be hired to write the script for the fourth, Breaking Dawn, but she thinks it's safe to assume the book's more graphic violent scenes will be tailored to keep it accessible for Twilight's teen moviegoing audience.

"Our fans are in the PG age range, and I don't feel a big necessity to see violence, and to see gore," Rosenberg said. "I don't need to see that. This whole series is more about their relationship. It's not about the gore. I mean, there are some scary and special elements to it, but the series is really about relationships and coming of age and owning one's power."

We can't disagree. So when the chance came up to take Rob out for a quiet romantic meal for two, we jumped at the chance like vampires leaping into a tree.

Hi there Rob. We're so happy you invited us out. After all, you must have hordes of screaming girls following you around all the time, and you picked us. Do you even look at your fan sites?

I'm aware of them but it would be so easy to be obsessed with that stuff and then not do anything else - which I did do for a time!

The weird thing is that because you're at the eye of the storm, you don't notice what's going on. But when there are eight-year-old girls standing there trembling and crying, that's a very strange thing to be a part of.

You have an angry side? We like that. You have a sensitive side too - in your next movie, Little Ashes, you play a young Salvador Dali struggling with his feelings for playwright Lorca (Javier Beltrán).

In an ideal world, people would always be searching out those tiny art films but it's nice that Twilight fans are looking forward to Little Ashes.

I wanted to do it to break down what I thought I could do, but Dali is incredibly self-conscious throughout the movie so I thought all the nude scenes and stuff worked with me being nervous anyway.

Nude scenes! Although, are you saying your first on-screen sex scene is with a bloke?

We both refused to shave before doing it...

This is a big turn-on... Wait, err... what?

...It's very uncomfortable in terms of scratching each other with our stubble - it made me feel sorry for women!

Edward and Bella's reunion in New Moon is good. It's different from the book so I think people will be happy.

This movie will have a very different mood. In visual terms it's going to be so different from Twilight. It's also a lot scarier. Chris [Weitz, New Moon director] is very willing to go down that route.

So, are they going to tie you up in that harness again for the sequel?

Luckily, I just have to get beaten up in this one!

It's funny how fame can strike those least likely. The last time I met Robert Pattinson was in late 2004. It was on the set of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, in which he played the murdered Hogwarts pupil Cedric Diggory. A shy, gawky 18-year-old, this boy from Barnes did not seem a star in the making. Nor did he look "exotically beautiful", as The New York Times dubbed him upon viewing his career-making performance as the lovelorn vampire Edward Cullen in the recent teen sensation Twilight.

For his brooding portrayal of Cullen, Pattinson was suddenly hailed as the new James Dean, a risky mantle for any young male actor to inherit (particularly if they're from England). Not that he's done little to dispel this after admitting that he aped the Giant star's vocal patterns to play the part. "Everyone loves a bit of James Dean," he told one reporter, explaining he used the same trick for "chatting up girls". This month's US edition of GQ magazine even has him channelling his inner Dean in a photo shoot that highlights just how gym sessions for Twilight helped sculpt his stubble-clad face.

When we meet again, his bush of brown hair looking more Dean-like than ever, I remind him of our previous encounter. "That was depressingly long ago," he groans, too young still to be aware that, in the grand scheme of things, four years is not so much. Still, it's not hard to see why he feels this way, given what a blur the last 12 months have been for him. Even before Twilight, Pattinson was finding love notes from female admirers left under the windscreen wiper of his car. "That was months before the movie came out," he acknowledges. "Now, it's really bizarre."

In the run up to the release of the film, adapted from the first of Stephenie Meyer's quartet of bestselling books, Pattinson toured a series of shopping malls in America to promote the film. The hysteria was like Beatle-mania revisited as girls fainted, screamed and asked him to bite them. You can bet Bela Lugosi never had to deal with this. "It's a weird experience," he concedes, "and you do tend to start getting a little bit paranoid about stuff. Looking around when you're walking down the street, in case you get mobbed by teenage girls!"

Rubbing his sleepy eyes, he admits he's still trying to get his head round it all. "So many people have watched Twilight or heard about it, you can be sitting anywhere and the chances are someone will come up and recognise you." This, he adds, included coming out of a sandwich shop in Yorkshire, and being accosted by the only person on an otherwise empty street and being asked for a photo. "How can you have immediate recognition in Guisborough coming out of Benjis?" he giggles. "That was very strange!"

Still, there must be a part of him that's secretly relieved that his new film, Little Ashes, is light years from Twilight. It is set in Spain when the country was in the grip of fascism. Pattinson plays surrealist painter Salvador Dali, when, as an 18-year-old, he moved to the Residencia de Estudiantes in Madrid to study art. As a role, it couldn't be juicier. In a portrait of an artist as a young man, Pattinson gets to show us the "self-conscious and hyper-sensitive" creature cowering beneath a persona that, even at that age, was outlandishly flamboyant.

According to Pattinson, Dali's whole character is sleight of hand. "I guess in a lot of ways, it's the story about him putting a mask on," he says. "In the rest of his life, a lot of the time he forgets he's wearing the mask. Or he's aware he's wearing the mask but he can't get it off. I found that the most interesting part of him. Someone who's wearing this mask, which is destroying everything in their life... they can't get it off and they can't remember how to get it off. They can't remember who they were before. And if they go back to who they were before, it'll probably destroy them too."

It is directed by Paul Morrison. As the film suggests, it was Dali's intense, formative relationship with playwright and poet Federico Garcia Lorca (played by Javier Beltran) that shaped him in this way.

"Whenever he does touch reality, which he does when he's younger, in brief little moments when he gets through his shyness to actually connect with someone, it causes mayhem in his life," says Pattinson. "I think he was like that the rest of his life. And his relationship with Lorca scared him from having any kind of reality in his life at any point afterwards."

I wonder if Pattinson relates to Dali on a personal level, given that he has suddenly experienced the whirlwind of fame that the painter so readily sought out in his later years.

"Just hyper-consciousness and stuff... I guess I do relate to that quite a lot," he mumbles. "What I really related to is this idea of ambition. Just being so concerned about being the best and being known for being someone important... he keeps continually forgetting that it doesn't really mean anything at all. And I always found that idea interesting. But I think Dali has a lot of shame - and I don't really have that!"

Pattinson admits there is some comparison between Dali and Twilight's Cullen, who endures a similarly fraught affair with a teenage girl. "I think both of them were terrified. Especially Dali. He had so many sexual hang-ups. He was crippled by so many different things.

"If you read some of his early-life autobiography, it's horrible... the amount of mental anguish he has to go through, just to have any kind of even vaguely sexual relationship. It's really depressing what he's going through in his head. Dali had a massive fear of penetration - penetrating someone or being penetrated."

According to Pattinson, he sees playing Dali as a turning point in his career. "To not betray or insult someone's memory, it seemed a lot more important than other jobs I've done before," he says. "I definitely felt I had a lot of freedom when I was doing for various reasons." Still, how does he think the Twilight fans will react to his love scenes with Beltran? "I think girls" - at this point he can't stop himself from a smutty chortle - "almost really like watching something like that. From what I've read, people really get excited about that - it sounds really sexy!"

Inevitably, since Twilight came out, speculation has surrounded Pattinson's own love-life, linking him with numerous starlets, including 10,000 BC's Camilla Belle. "I don't really care about it," he shrugs. "I have the same little set of friends and I don't have anyone who would really get affected adversely [by false rumours]. Every single person who they sort of romantically link me to... I just don't even really know anyone. So it doesn't really affect me that much." Is there any truth to the persistent rumour hooking him up with Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart? "Er, no," he states. "I don't understand where that even comes from."

Certainly, when Pattinson tells you that things haven't "really changed so much in my head" since Twilight came out, you can believe him. Willing to please, he carries the bewildered air of someone who still can't quite believe what has happened to him. Yet it'd be unfair to dub him "lucky", for his is not simply a case of 'right place, right time'. When he was 17, he decided against going to university - not that he got accepted to any, mind - to carry on with his acting. He immediately won a bit part in Mira Nair's Vanity Fair, followed by a more substantial role in Ring of the Nibelungs, a TV film inspired by Wagner's Ring cycle.

Eclipse is scheduled to come out on June 30, 2010 and the quick-paced production schedule necessitated a new director instead of New Moon's Chris Weitz. The press release from Summit follows-

Los Angeles, CA April 22, 2009 - Summit Entertainment announced today that David Slade has been hired to direct THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE from a screenplay written by Melissa Rosenberg. THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, the third film in the studio's TWILIGHT film franchise based on the Stephenie Meyer's blockbuster book series, will be released theatrically in North America on Wednesday, June 30, 2010. The announcement was made by Erik Feig, Summit's President of Production.

Meyer stated, "I am thrilled that David Slade will be directing ECLIPSE. He's a visionary filmmaker who has so much to offer this franchise. From the beginning, we've been blessed with wonderful directorial talent for the Twilight Saga, and I'm so happy that ECLIPSE will be carrying on with that tradition."

Feig said, "Stephenie Meyer's ECLIPSE is a muscular, rich, vivid book and we at Summit looked long and hard for a director who could do it justice. We believe we have found that talent in David Slade, a director who has been able to create complex, visually arresting worlds. We cannot wait to see the ECLIPSE he brings to life and brings to the fans eagerly awaiting its arrival in summer of 2010."

Filmmaker Slade came to prominence as a director for his work on 2006's engrossing film HARD CANDY starring Academy Award® Nominated actress Ellen Page as well as directing 2007's genre hit 30 DAYS OF NIGHT which opened to number one at the box office its first weekend of release.

In ECLIPSE, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob - knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.

Robert Pattinson reveals during the interview that he is cautious about being around other people now-"I'm always really worried about ruining their lives. Especially with people that aren't famous. It's such a massive change. I'm kind of a paranoid wreck. I've eaten a lot of room service."

Robert also talks about how Edward Cullen will appear in the New Moon film-

"(In the film) it's an illusion when he appears. I think if you do it with voiceover as they do in the book, it would end up being quite cheesy

 Acting411 is reporting that Breaking Dawn will be filmed in the Spring of 2010, and released in early 2011-

Summit Entertainment has acquired the rights (optioned property) from Stephenie Meyer to film and distribute Breaking Dawn, the fourth novel in her series. The project has now been green lighted by the studio. Pre-production for Eclipse is already underway, and Breaking Dawn is in the early planning stages. Casting information will be posted here as soon as available. "Breaking Dawn" will start shooting in the spring of 2010, with a release scheduled for early 2011.

The Twilight actor plays a song for us on piano. We like him.

The adage that you can tell a lot about someone by their shoes seems true of Jackson Rathbone, who is wearing brown leather cowboy boots flecked with yellow paint.  He spent many of his formative years in Texas, and talking to him, it becomes clear that he would describe himself as an artist before he would just call himself an actor.

Rathbone started acting in high school when he attended Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan, and moved from set and lighting design to a spot in front of the curtain.  "When I started being onstage, I fell in love with it," he says.  Although he is now best known as Jasper Hale in Twilight, and is currently filming M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Airbender, what Rathbone seems most excited to talk about right now is his band, 100 Monkeys. 

His bandmates are old friends and actors as well, and he shares a house in Hollywood with two of them.  "We call it the Monkey House," he jokes.  "We all play all the instruments," he adds.  "We call it the Monkey Switcharoo."

When asked about working with his Twilight castmates, he praises their talent, then adds, "Kristen and Rob are both very musically inclined, so we would have jam sessions.  It was like the Cullen Family Band." 

Strangely enough, the hotel room where we're speaking is equipped with a grand piano.  Nearly everyone who's passed it has hammered out a botched chopsticks, and Rathbone, whose car is waiting outside, can't resist the pull either.  He sits down, and to much applause, plays an actual song.

Melissa Rosenberg, scriptwriter for both Twilight and New Moon, has laid to rest rumors that Breaking Dawn is in an advanced stage of production, noting that she hasn't written the script yet, nor has she received direction from Stephenie Meyer on how to proceed--

"The most I've heard from Summit is ‘re-read it and start thinking about it,'" says Rosenberg, who is completing her show-running duties on the fourth season of the Showtime series Dexter. More telling, she hasn't yet received one of the manifestos Meyer famously puts together before Rosenberg begins turning one of her books into a movie. Another source is also skeptical that Summit is far along in developing a fourth film. "As far as I know, Stephenie was still having meetings asking, ‘Can we really make this into a movie?'"

Stephenie berättar att hon höll sitt skrivande om twilight hemligt, inte ens hennes man visste vad hon skrev om. Men tillslut berättade hon för sin man om boken. Hon jämför det hela med Edward och hans mystiska hemlighet som han först höll undan från Bella.

"I didn't tell him what I was doing," Meyer says. "So he was mystified. And a little irritated that I was hogging the computer all the time. I had as hard a time telling him I was writing a story about vampires as Edward did telling Bella he was one," she laughs.

After finishing the manuscript, Meyer's sister persuaded her to approach a literary agent. Letters were sent to 15. Five of those didn't bother to reply, while she received nine rejections. The last eventually led to a three-book deal and film rights.

"He and I both don't have time to date, but we do have amazing chemistry," she says.

"We both have such big crushes on each other and it clearly shows. We got along instantly and the day we met, he was teaching me how to swing dance.

"He (Rathbone) does everything. He sings, he dances, and he's so sweet. Even my mum has a crush on him and tells me, ‘You should date him'. So, who knows, maybe when we both stop running around the world."

Not really. I think it's weird the obsession some people have with them. I only read Dracula when I was filming the movie.

How do you feel about having so many girls following you around?
It's scary because it's something that it hadn't happened to me before. Twilight fans are very loyal to the book and to Stephenie Meyer. I had a 100% negative reaction from fans when I got the role of Edward.

Why?
For everything. Edward is some sort of perfect creature, the ideal guy. And fans wanted a guy like Leonardo DiCaprio, but Edward is supposed to be 17. When I met Stephenie Meyer, she approved me for the character and literally the next day all the fans changed their minds and accepted me.

It must be hard trying to be so perfect.
It is. First I read the book and I thought there was no way that I could play and create all those perfect descriptions of Edward. Nobody in the world could have brought to life someone so awesome. Then I read the script and auditioned with Kristen, and she acted in a very unexpected way. She gave strength to Bella so that made Edward's character a little bit more weak, and I took it from there. He, being some kind of demon, is completely taken with her. She dominates him.

How do you feel about being in such a blockbuster hit like Harry Potter and now in Twilight?
To be honest, I never thought of this when I got the role. Harry Potter was my first chance of reaching an audience and now this movie has become very successful too. It was very unexpected.

Have you been harder on yourself, since you're playing such a perfect character?
Not really. I didn' try to be perfect, I based him off on celebrities like James Dean, people with an endless charm. In this movie he's very chivalrous, but I tried to make him sexier in the movie. I used the fact that I'm a vampire, I want people to think I'm mysterious and dangerous at the same time.

Do you think you've become a paparazzi target?

So they recognize you more now?
Yes, I don't know if it's because I have this annoying hair. Actually I need to cut my hair, everybody knows who I am based on my hair, but they don't even know my name.

Do you have your hair that long for a reason?
We're shooting New Moon soon. I'd love to get a buzz cut but I'm not sure. Plus, if I audition for something there will be people wanting to see some longer hair.

How did you get into acting?
I've never went to acting school. One day my dad was at a restaurant and he saw a bunch of pretty girls, so he asked them where were they going to and they said Theater club, so my dad told me I had to go there. It was so embarrassing.

How did you get to Hollywood?
I looked for a manager after Harry Potter. Last year I was in a movie in which I played Salvador Dalí and I took it very seriously. When I came back to London I wanted to do something else, I auditioned and three days later I was hired for Twilight.

What were your dreams before you got into acting?
I wanted to be a pianist and play in London pubs.

There's a song by you in the soundtrack, are you planning on releasing an album?
I'm not releasing an album, that would be too much!

Is there an actor that you look up to?
I've always been obsessed with Jack Nicholson. But I prefer 70's movies and I like James Dean's style, he's amazing.

"One of my best guy friends went out to LA to visit his mom over Easter and he ended up going to Easter dinner with someone who worked on Twilight and is currently working on New Moon. They talked briefly about it, saying that they would film in Italy at the end of May. My friend also said that the crewmember told him that they are currently shooting both the 2nd AND the 3rd. I asked my friend if he meant that they were filming Eclipse right after they finish New Moon, but he said that he was sure they are filming both. It kind of makes sense and it explains why Taylor Lautner was in the parking lot pictures on Lainey Gossip (Jacob shows up at Forks H.S. in Eclipse to confront Edward)."

Check out these new pics of New Moon wolf pack recruits Chaske Spencer and Bronson Pelletier looking totally yummy, as well as Kristen Stewart after a long day on the set. Lainey says-

"Back to Kristen - looks gorgeous after a full day on set. She and Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson were shooting on a road by the woods yesterday, a scene where Taylor transforms into a wolf at the end. Or something."

Rob, Kristen och Taylor har precis spelat in en scen ute i skogen när Jacob förvandlas till en varg, berättar Lainey.

More than one very good chum to Nik and Kris is adamantly refuting any Rob-Nikki romance. We're told a serious relationship between N and R does not exist. "I get why people would think that. Let's just say it's convenient for a lot of people to pair Rob in the media up with Nikki, Natalie Portman, Paris, whoever to get the heat off him and Kristen."

Another Twilight know-it-all sniffed: "Well, let's just say Nikki likes this stuff out there more than Rob does, who really just f-ks whoever he wants-and he does."

Enligt några källor skulle alltså det här ryktet om Rob och Nikki vara ett slags sidospår för att få bort de heta ryktena om att Kirsten och Rob skulle vara ett par istället. Och som det står här uppe så får ju bara Nikki mera publicitet och kanske gillar ryktena medan Rob inte bryr sig. ¨

"If you think he's not going to be in the movie, you're going to pleasantly surprised," Edi Gathegi, who plays vampire Laurent, tells In Touch, Ashley Greene, who plays Edward's sister Alice, seconds that emotion. "Of course they threw Rob in there!" she tells In Touch.

"He comes in as a flittering image to tell Bella not to do anything reckless, you have him at the beginning at school, at the party, when he's saying goodbye to Bella and in Italy as well, so his fans will get their fix!"

Den här nyheten lugnar verkligen mig som vart lite orolig över att inte få se Rob!;)

Q: What are the downsides of being famous?

K: It's not really a down side, but you definitely sell your privacy, so a lot of things that you want to do, or you used to do, just going shopping or going to the grocery store, or you know, I went to circuit city which is an appliance store, and I brought Lost on DVD, and I was followed buying Lost, and it's weird. A lot of times, no one likes you 100% of the time, so when you have people criticizing certain things, you know, thank god I'm not on the internet, like some actors, you know, they have to see what comments are made on IMDB or stuff like that and it kind of breaks them down a little bit in a way and it's really kind of sad to go that route. But just again, you know, no-one's going to like you 100% of the time, and it sucks for people who don't like us for certain roles you do, but tough luck!

A: Yeah, same thing! It's simply the scrutiny, the scrutiny can be a little over the top sometimes, and then the insane,I mean it's kind of on both sides of the spectrum, it's amazing that we get to travel as much as we do but it also takes a toll on your sleep schedule and on your relationships and seeing family and stuff like that. But yeah, they're really the only two things really.

"He becomes like her best friend," Stewart says of the werewolf. "It's really [expletive] sad. Edward probably isn't a very good idea for her. He's not the guy she should actually be with, because it's not very convenient. And then there's this guy who comes in and oooohh. Ummmmm."

Her favourite part of New Moon is the beginning. "Everything is fine. Edward is there. They're chilling. They're together. Everyone's happy. But there's this eerie feeling like he's gonna go. Has anyone broken up with you, and you know that it's coming? It's weeks before and you're like, ‘I'm a nutcase, but I swear to God something is wrong.' And then, however many weeks go by, and it happens. It's horrible. It's the worst."
