We’ve heard about people traveling from Tennessee to catch a glimpse of New Moon–but would you believe that some teenagers have travelled all the way from Switzerland for a chance to catch the New Moon stars in action? 17-year olds Lorena Schneider and Kathrin Laube took the trek from their small Swiss village to Vancouver on a spontaneous whim.

“My mom finds [the trip to Vancouver] very cool,” Schneider said. “She’s read the [Twilight] books.”

Since they’ve been in town nearly two weeks ago, the pair have been busy “Googling all day” in an effort to find out where filming has been taking place.

Though they had located the film’s set at David Thompson secondary school and Burnaby’s Central Park, they had yet to spot any of the cast.
